[C20XE] Topic from Brazilian Calibra's Owner

Hello! I'm really sorry about the language, but Deustche is very difficult to me

I'm writing from Brazil, and around here we have few 2.016V Calibras, imported since 1993 to 1997. There's not optional motorizations available to us, unfortunately.

This is my:

I'm not sure if this the correct area to talk about this, but I've watch a interesting (but tragic) movie called Die Calibra-Brüder and i have not understood what dud really happened .

The movie has shown a Modified Calibra, DTM-style, and suddenly, it appears absolutely destroyed...

What did occurs exactly? It's a very shocking cene.

the movie shows 2 calibra brothers race against the rival vw corrado.Calibra wins but in the next corner ,the brothers died,cause they are too fast for da corner.It is a modified 2,0 16v calibra.

Where you from brasil??

I'm belong to São Paulo, same city that hosts the Brazilian GP of Formula 1. My home is not too far from Circuit. My C20XE is one hndred percent stock,but it has a very satisfactory powerful and offers good speeds to car.

In other hand, there are some Brazilian's C20XEs turbocharged with over 300 bhps, but it's very rare on Brasil, once the price of performance parts is too much expensive (or we are very poor, instead of

The little Flags are a very logic choice, once we're talking about a legitim and historic German Coupe!

Sad.

But, watching the video, I've not understood How the brother's Calibra skid out of the track... It looks a long straight, and the ending parts show one Audi 80 (i'm not sure) infront the Cali, and it was after to overtake VW Corrado...

So, the video was getting worst until to terminate, abruptly, and it's not clear wich the real reason of accident.

In the video they also just say that the 2 brothers died 800meters after the film quits.
It's realy a tragic story.

But nevertheless: You've got a nice calibra!! It's intresting to see calibra owners all over the world and how they think and speak about that wonderfull car.

These Calibras are not brazilian, sadly...

I tought that one of both were the destroyed on the video...

But it was not.

Here in Brazil there are some Calis with really nice look, but the DTM style is not much popular around here... The influences of visual-style are most American

than European... and it's a huge shame.

Whatever, I see that the real circunstances of accident are not clear to you also.. No problem... let's forget about sad things.

Calibra is a very rare car in Brasi.. in another South America's countries there are not Calibras. 1490 calibras went to Brazil, but we suspect that they aren't more than 800, actually. The Brazilians Calibra's owners is a specific type of people, in my case, I've bought one model because de DTM's 90s races, that I saw on TV, and the car's futurist look was very impressive to me in epoch.
